Energized Spirits

The years have seen a flurry of reports of paranormal activity, but one particular occurrence altered my perception of spirits. I came to understand that the “ghosts” we commonly refer to are actually concentrated energy.

I was once given a series of travel stories to write for a newspaper in El Cajon, California, called the Daily Californian. One involved making a nighttime trip to The Mission Inn in Riverside County.

It has been said many different ways, but this property is fantasy and whimsy woven into the architecture. In the clock tower, life-size statues turn around, there are numerous balconies, and underground passageways lead to catacombs. Raquel Welch once sat in the lap of a large Buddha so that she could have her picture taken there.

After finishing my dining review and booking a room, I got ready for bed. I constantly sensed someone standing in front of me when I closed my eyes. For hours, each and every time. I switched on, off, and back on each light. It was exhausting.

Nothing could get rid of it. I gave up at 2:30 am and checked out. After checking out of the hotel, I returned to San Diego by car and arrived there just before dawn.

I’m not sure what was in the room with me, but I could feel it there. And I don’t believe in ghosts. I did come to the conclusion that maybe energy gets trapped after that experience. My first instinct from that hotel room was that something was trapped and I was invading its space.

When I recently tried to make a video story about the historic Eagle Mine in Julian, California, with a friend who has a camera, we came across a scene similar to this one in the “hoist room.”‘ I wasn’t shocked because I was familiar with the sensation. A different response came from my cameraman.

The only video we have is of the ground as he ran out of the mine. I used still images to write the story. He claims to have seen someone behind me when he raised the camera.

Ghosts are energy pockets that become trapped at the incorrect vibration, disrupting the energy around them. Some people experience angst when sensitive individuals approach unbalanced areas. Similar energy can occasionally temporarily combine or merge. Boundaries can disappear and reappear, but not voluntarily.

Unbalances developed as a result of man manipulating electricity and other forms of power, which may be felt by some people, including artists, writers, and other creatives. Everything used to be pure energy that manifested as vibrational “appearances” on the surface.’ The artists among us can perceive some clusters that are caught in a quick vibration.
